Thursday 29th May 2025 – 3pm At the Parish Church of St Bridget and St Cwyfan, Waterfall Road, Dyserth, LL18 6DB. All are welcome to join us as we remember Mike. Whilst the service will begin at 3:00pm, we encourage you to arrive before 2:00pm at the church ⛪️ Seating inside the church is limited, but there will be ample space around the church grounds for everyone to gather, reflect, and pay tribute 🙏 The Service Audio will be relayed outside for all to hear 📣 Following the service, we will continue the celebration of Mike’s life with an evening of music at The Red ❤️ There is no dress code — please wear whatever you feel most comfortable in, Camo, Alarm, Formal, Rock & Roll or Love Hope Strength attire. Come as you Are! ❤️ We are deeply thankful for the beautiful flowers and kind notes received so far. My Nain & Taid used to bring me here when I was a little girl, in their turquoise blue Volkswagen, all the way from Prestatyn after a sleepover whilst Pete & Dottie were loving it up in Rhyl 🕺💃 It brings me such comfort every time I hike here. The view is life-affirming and poignantly, one year ago when we received the news about Richters Transformation. (God how I hated the name from the outset...🤦‍♀️) Mike, Ziggy and I came for a hike together. By the time we reached the summit, I was sobbing my heart out and Mike all calmness asking me why I was crying... 🤣 You’ve got to laugh really. Mike’s calm demeanour and me falling apart because I wear my heart on my sleeve 💔 “Why?” Said I? ( I remember the moment like it was yesterdayj “Because I thought we were going to grow old together hiking this route..” Mike smiled at me, all positivity and reassurance... “But we are, Trixie Vixie (his nickname for me. I’m even listed as Trix in his phone ☎️) We are going to hike this way together for a very long time. “ I’ve come to terms with the fact that this didn’t happen, as I hike this way almost every other day and I only feel happy thoughts on this route, because Mike is with me. By my side. God I wish he was with me for another 20 years but as a family we are getting through it by firmly concentrating on the 39 years we had together. We were the lucky ones. It’s not easy and there are plenty of wobbles and dark humour among the way 🖤 But I would say as a family we are 80 per cent operative 📶 Thanks to you all for guiding us through with your love, kind comments, hugs, dog walks and beyond... We truly are a Global Village Community and that’s what will get us all through losing our loved ones. Thanks to every single one of you who approaches me with a hug, a kiss, a kind word. All the outpouring of love has kept me elevated despite the crushing waves of grief 🌊 I’m learning to navigate the waves alongside all your collected wisdom and advice. It takes a Village... When I realised that i was responsible for organising the funeral I set about it as if I was producing The Gathering, a Mike Peters event that I have produced for over 30 years... Based on our very ‘loose’ funeral discussions as you must remember that MLP never once thought he was losing this fight. He was confident right to the very end that he was going to receive the full dose of Epcoritmanb and then continue to a new life of maintenance. I’m so happy that this was all of the last year for Mike. Determination and resilience and at another time I would like to discuss this further. My job recently haa been to facilitate, despite my growing inner fears. That has taken all of me if I’m honest as my whole intention this past year has been to protect Mike and support him in his wishes... However he didn’t think he was going to die and so he never wanted the difficult conversation.. I’ll share more over the next few days, weeks and months but the one thing I wanted was a special place to lay Mike to rest and a special person to lay Mike to rest. Meet Gregor... 🙏 The last two weeks of my life have been made infinitely easier by the presence of our Vicar, Gregor... I’m Not especially religious, preferring the spirituality of the mountains, yoga and sea... Gregor is perfect for the task and together with an incredible team we are carving out the most incredible last concert starring Mike Peters ⭐️ All the arrangements are in place and we look forward to sharing over the coming days so you can make your plans, descend on the village and say your goodbyes to our beloved Mike... ❤️

Born in Dyserth and laid to rest in Dyserth. You couldn’t write the script. So please make your plans to join us on Thursday 29th May at 3pm to celebrate the incredible life of Mikey Peters... I’ll be releasing all the logistics over the next few days. I’m so overwhelmed by all the people who are making the trip from overseas... I always knew how MP was so loved, such was his humility and kindness with everyone he met... but the outpouring has been unprecedented... Evan, Dylan, Ziggy and I miss him with all our heart, as I know you do too, so together we will give him the ultimate send off 🎸 Sincere thanks to our local police for their considerate care and support... Today has been a beautiful day and I’m so touched to meet people today in The Red who have travelled as far afield from New Jersey, Cardiff and Loch Lomond to pay their respects today. Over this last year I have a lot to discuss about love, death and grief... I’m happy to report that Mike never believed he was going to die. He confidently focused on his optimistic options and firmly believed that he would get to the full dose of Epcoritamab and lead a long and healthy life. As Mike’s partner, I had a very different view, formed mainly from opinions foisted on me at times, uninvited but with completely good intentions and so I began to see how our story would perhaps realistically unfold. It’s been traumatic. Full stop. I haven’t had chance to reveal the full story as I wanted to keep us all united and hopeful. Mike was very keen for me to reveal the true story behind his CAR T experience and I most definitely will honour his request when I feel up to the task. Let’s just say that I have been in grief since our shock diagnosis over one year ago, my heart in my mouth, my resolve destroyed. Mike and I walked Meliden Mountain together only days after his shock diagnosis, our USA Tour in tatters. I fell apart, started sobbing and Mike was unable to comprehend my distress... “We are never going to walk this walk into our 80’s” said I... “Of course we are, Trixie. We are going to get through this” And there was our Ying and Yang... I never googled Richters. I was told by someone about ‘poor prognosis’ but I resolutely ignored those two words... I just wanted to concentrate on Mike’s ability to stay calm, focused and believe in him. Like Mike always told me... “This is my story”... My grief is hitting me in waves, like a surfer. When I’m locked in the wave, it feels like the end of the world but then I come up for air, gasping and I know I’ll live to love another day.... This morning I got caught up in a tidal wave. I’m shattered, lacking in sleep, but my lodger, Andy from Burry carried me through with plain talking and a big hug ❤️ It was up to me to make myself turn right and pull myself together... just as MP would have wanted ⏩ See part 2 👉

Then eventually I awake in a cold sweat realising that nothing has changed... I have honestly never experienced anything like it so I’m putting it down to extreme grief for loving MLP 😘❤️🙏 I’m usually a naturally good sleeper but can recognise that the times they are a changing’ 💤💤 I’m happy to experience this chaos in return for all that I have enjoyed over the last 39 years! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ My lodger then awoke me at 330am or should I say Ziggy did as Andy had been taking care of Peter Hook, who kindly delivered a beautiful eulogy for Mike and performance of ‘Crystal’ our shared favourite New Order song which we would crank out loud only a few weeks ago. It’s insane to think that MLP is not with us, breaking out on the sofa, our nightly meet up where we would discuss eveything and anything... I keep practising what I preach, finding the joy in all that we had and especially my boys who are both by my side. It’s been a slog today as it’s Sunday and time seems to tick more slowly without MLP I swear to God! But we are doing ok because we are being taken care of by a Village! Andy delivered me to The Red in style! Colin kept me company. Gail booked me brekkie. Dylan made me cappuccino, Evan made me laugh. Lucy & Sian took me on a mind blowing hike. Maria occupied me in the afternoon. Andy, Sian @ Kirsty kept me company this evening and Del was on stand by all day! My parents are on sweet supply and ditto for my brother and sister in law plus brother in law. It really does take a village! Ryder & Sam at The Red! The Alarmies in Redidence ❤️ And don’t get me started on the messages and phone calls. Flowing through like the Falls and keeping me motivated despite the crushing waves of grief... 🌊 We are full of funeral plans right now so stay tuned for all the deets.. Pole pole 🥾 It was a challenge for me to make it to yoga this morning as I know how stirring yoga can be. Tania our Ukranian yoga teacher set up outside and taught a grounding class this morning which involved practising on grass and grounding with the earth. I found it extremely therapeutic 🧘‍♀️ Especially against the backdrop of birdsong and waterfalls 🙏 From yoga to brunch at The Red and a waterfall of condolences... People are just so kind. The Redtherapy is really helping me get through. My bridesmaid appeared, Martine. I was her bridesmaid too and together the years melted away 👰‍♀️ We first met as sixteen year olds working our Saturday job at Kwil Save HQ Then Colin arrived from Surrey to keep me company. Colin is the Mastermind Taste master, responsible for the design of the Chapel, The Red and my house, my very own Peaky Blinder. The Alarmies were also in the Village so it’s been a day of everlasting hugs and an outpouring of love hope and strength. Plus a visit from our former MP, Chris Ruane and his wife Jill. I did my teachers training with Chris and Chris used to work at Woolies with Mike. We go back a long way! A shout out to Gwyny and Lyny who walked Ziggy for me 🐾 Plus lovely to welcome the scooters back 🛵 But the icing on the cake is a tribute by Peter Hook from New Order who played Crystal in honour of Mike! Mike I hope you are watching over me as we both loved blasting out Crystal at full volume 📣 I have quite a houseful on a sleep over with me tonight. It certainly takes a village! Thank you everyone for your kindness today. “I miss you Mike!” (I shout this out once a day!) But focusing all my being on being grateful for all that we have had... Thank you for everything. Everything is going to be fine ❤️ Here comes love It’s like honey You can’t buy it with money You’re not alone anymore You shook me to the core 🔮

...ugins/instagram-feed/img/placeholder.pngAnother day in paradise ❤️ Waking up from what I can gather (after speaking to lots of friends affected by Mp’s passing), is the hardest thing to do 🙌 There’s a split second when you think M is still alive and then within seconds your life falls apart again 🤦‍♀️ But you rebuild, because that’s what MP wanted and by rebuilding you become stronger and you see the light once again ❤️💡 It’s not easy, of course but life isn’t easy and when you love as hard we do, then losing the love of your life of course is going to be the ultimate challenge ⛑️ So after the initial hard awakening, I shifted myself across the threshold and down to The Red, where incredibly, we were welcoming the blessing of Peter and Katya, two Alarm fans from New Hampshire in the USA 🇺🇸 I was their witness today ❤️ I’ve met Peter & Katya on tour several times in the USA and so it was an honour that they made the trip from the USA to Wales for their big moment in time 💍 Evan’s girlfriend Lily created a beautiful Walk Forever cake 🧁 and I was even able to listen to Mike singing ‘Walk Forever’ without crumbling. I just felt happy and grateful for all our time together. This is how I’m Operating ✋ Sean Zip Taylor called me up today and asked how I was doing 📞 “80 percent resilience” I answered. I’m not a percentage kind of girl to be honest. Sean thought it was a good answer all things considered. Sean is also a fan of Resilience and likes to keep me in check 📶 Grief is different for everyone but here in the village i think we are approaching in quite an old fashioned style. We keep gathering day after day, sharing flowers 🌹💐🌸🌺🌻🌼 talking about Mike, confirming our stories to each other... Basically I have a Village full of Counsellors and I am feeling very comforted by this 🫶 We are making our own way through it ⏭️ Tonight we enjoyed rock & roll yoga 🧘‍♀️🧘courtesy of Welly, followed by incredible DJ tunes by David Morait 💿🎵and all over-seen by Tour Manager Andy Labrow... It takes a Village We all miss Mike madly but we are doing our best to honour his instructions ... “Everything is going to be fine” 🙏❤️

The bittersweet pill of experiencing such true love ❤️ Meanwhile I have a whole village pulling me through. My sister in law took me on an a very early morning hike. A herd of cyclists passed us and I thought “I bet they are travelling to The Red!” They were! Then I met random people who popped by at The Red... Well wishes all the way. Sara who I went to High School with and her husband Don who lives with blood cancer. Then Chris who is about to start Epcoritamab which was our own very private mission for MLP. All the time my heart beating fast and my emotions lurching like a tidal wave.. 🌊 The day expanded and I shed a tiny tear in front of Evan 💧 My god he was invincible. Guiding us from afar and as both my ap Michael Boys reminded me today , with full on beautiful hugs, that MLP is just in the other room and wants us to remember that ‘eveything is going to be fine’ Tonight the boys headed to their beloved Old Trafford. So much of their relationship with their dad was peppered with footie and music chat. They left just as I did with my hiking posse, Andy’s Angels 👼 Hiking is my religion, it was our passion as a couple. To get out into the mountain air and throw caution to the wind. So that’s what I did. With a little help from my friends. Thank you everyone today for the hugs and kind words. Helps more than you’ll ever know. Lucky for me I have a Little Brother/ Brawd Bach to sustain me through these transformational days. Andrew Foley Jones was there on Day One. I met Mike on August 15th 1986 and by the 16th, Mike had revisited my house, knocked on the door, placed my 15 year old brother on his shoulders and directed Andy to take me to my current destination which was just further down the road. Andy duly delivered and as I answered the door at my friend’s house, there was Mike, all Alpha Male and ready to take me out in P Town ... We never looked back and got engaged one week later. Our little brother was part of our whole adventure from the beginning and forged a huge brotherly relationship from that moment on. Andy will explain as the months tick by, just how Mike encouraged him to believe in himself and to aim as high as the moon. It’s a story that is being told many times to me this week. Locals who tell me that Mike encouraged and instilled them with a belief to work hard and succeed. Andy has been side swiped with the loss of his brother in law and it has been an incredible comfort to me to have my baby brother close by my side, keeping me strong and focused on all our shared memories of Michael Peters. We miss him so much as we know all of you do too. Andy and I are determined to stay strong for Dylan and Evan especially. Andy is a lovely Uncle and role model for the boys with lots of appropiate banter to get us through the night. So fitting too that Andy’s eldest, Ianto (and a spitting image of Dylan) also loved his Uncle Mike and The Alarm to the moon and back whilst our youngest nephew, Iolo (and a spitting image of Evan) was only just beginning his Alarm journey 🎸 Thanks to all who visited The Red today and paid their respects. Andy and I took great comfort from all the love ❤️ Onwards to Day Ten 🙏
