We have added an optional Obstetrics Workshop to the Queenstown conference week!

Wednesday the 23rd of July from 10am - 12.30pm
An interactive, hands-on workshop taking a practical and multimodal approach to managing obstetric emergencies in pre-hospital and emergency settings. Designed for acute care clinicians, this session covers essential birth-related skills, from routine deliveries to high-risk scenarios.
Topics Covered: Normal birth – Key principles and hands-on practice
Breech birth – Recognition, manoeuvres, and safe delivery techniques
Shoulder dystocia – Identifying risk factors and practising resolution techniques
Delivering the placenta – Third-stage management and dealing with complications
