I’m Dayna — the heart, the hustle, and the actual human behind the algorithms and lens of Dayna Mae Photography.
This week I kicked off my 37th trip around the sun ☀️ 🥳— and figured it’s been a minute since I’ve shown my face here.
So, hey howdy heyyyyy.
Here I am.
A little older, hopefully a little wiser, and still wildly in love with this work and the couples & families that make this so much more than a career for me, and have for the last 17 years.

✨ and have been celebrating the last 20 birthdays with the same hunky middle school crush by my side, just with a new title #husband #babydaddy 😍

Don't get me wrong, I'm so glad we have updated photos but each new photo behind a little glass window is another reminder that yesterday, and the little years are getting further and further out of our grasp. And I just want to hold onto them.... a little longer.
But when you're looking through prints (YES I PRINT MY PHOTOS - and you should, too! 😉) and find this side by side of when you were a new mother, falling more and more with this little boy, looking at his chicklet teeth and button nose, savoring the grunt in his laughter, thinking the days can't get any better....

Then five years later, he's falling in love with his siblings like you fell in love with him.
