Here are just a few of the thousands of small steps people have shared.
🇬🇧 Nancy in the UK is swapping single-use plastic containers for glass jars when storing food and leftovers.
🇺🇸 Elle from the US has phased out plastic in her home, switching to wooden chopping boards and utensils, bulk-bought laundry detergent, and even homemade toothpaste.
🇦🇺 Sydney choir members Naomi, Jack and Bel are switching from plastic tea bags to loose-leaf tea.
🇮🇷 Nadia from Iran carries her own reusable straws and utensils, shops with her handmade fabric bag, and chooses eco-friendly personal care products.
🇯🇵 Kokoro from Japan brings her own containers to the bakery near her school and encourages her classmates to do the same.
🇱🇰 Shania from Sri Lanka is making and personalising her own bag and inviting others to join in! 🎨😊
