These little ones are rocking their white spots, which act like natural camouflage, helping them blend into dappled sunlight and tall grasses while they rest. Elk calves are born with spots, but they start to fade after just a few months. Keep your eyes peeled during your next tram tour, and you might catch a glimpse of these adorable newcomers. 🦌

...s/instagram-feed-pro/img/placeholder.pngOur playful raccoons, Bluebell and Hickory, recently received new natural furniture to enjoy in their outdoor habitat. The one-year-old rascals celebrated by immediately turning the place into a wrestling ring. There were somersaults, sneak-attacks, and dramatic flopping. ...s/instagram-feed-pro/img/placeholder.pngRescued orphaned cougar cub Sullivan has come a long way since he was found alone, malnourished, and fighting to survive. Thanks to expert care at Northwest Trek and our amazing veterinary partners, he’s growing stronger every day. Recently, animal care staff noticed Sullivan was limping. When initial tests didn’t reveal the cause, we teamed up with specialists at Summit Veterinary Referral Center for an MRI and advanced nerve testing. The MRI and exam revealed an injury to Sullivan’s foot, and he’ll need extra care going forward, including physical therapy to help improve the use of his leg.
